Space for Culture

Our universe in art, literature and philosophy

Science Year 2023 is all about “Our Universe”. With the aim of strengthening the humanities perspective on space, we invited people to help shed light on major issues related to the universe in four decentralised, interactive “Space Missions” and a central “Space Day” being held at the Haus der Universität ("University House") and on Schadowplatz nearby on 16 June 2023.

The objective of the project is to offer the interested public – and in particular young adults – opportunities to look into outer space from a wide variety of perspectives.

We are delighted to offer space – literally – for culture and dialogue about the universe with the SPACE FOR CULTURE project
